The Golden
West Chapter participated in a special screening of the Liongate's film, Sexy Evil Genius, starring
Seth Green, Michelle Trachtenberg, Katee Sackhoff, Anthony Michael Hall and
William Baldwin. The movie was written by Scott Lew, who has been living with
ALS for more than ten years. The film is about a group of people are lured to the same bar in
downtown Los Angeles by Nikki, an ex-girlfriend they all have in common.This special Hollywood event was an opportunity to meet and mingle with the cast and crew and to see the documentary, Jujitsuing Reality, which
offers a glimpse into Scott’s experience making the film and living with
ALS.
Narrated by actor Seth Green giving voice to Scott Lew who is
ventilated and
can no longer speak, Jujitsuing Reality is both hopeful and inspiring. The film has been honored as the
Best
Documentary, 2012 LA Shorts Fest, and an official selection of the
2013 Irvine International Film Festival and of the 2013 Santa Barbara
