2019 Napa Valley Ride to Defeat ALS and Walk

Cruisin' for Curt

Cruisin' for Curt

Welcome to our team page for our 6th year of fundraising for the ALS Association Golden West Chapter!

In September 2019 my goal is to ride 65 miles in Napa Valley to spread awareness of the devastating disease that is ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease.

Your support in the fight against ALS provides vital care for ALS patients such as ALS Clinics, care manager services, support group meetings, access to community resources, and most important of all--research toward treatments and a CURE for ALS!

In August 2014 I was with my dad at his neurology evaluation at UCSF Medical Center when we received the devastating news that he had ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease, a terminal illness that steals the ability to move and eventually, the ability to breathe. Since 2014 he can no longer move his shoulders, can no longer drive and requires a BIPAP machine to breathe sufficiently at night. He depends on the ALS Association's services to live his best life with the time he has left.

I'm asking for your help. Please make a donation, join my team, or sign up to be a volunteer today.

Ride for those who can't. Ride to Defeat ALS.
