Welcome to My Personal Fundraising Page
On September 18, 2021, I'm participating in the Napa Valley Ride to Defeat ALS benefiting the ALS Association. This ride is personal for me because my brother, Steven W. Avon, MD, after a three year battle, passed away from ALS on 02/09/2019, one month shy of his 63rd birthday. Our family is honoring Steve by participating in this ride and raising funds for the ALS Association. The mission of the ALS Association is to discover treatments and a cure for ALS and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS.
This ride is an exciting opportunity for us to work together to support those affected by Lou Gehrig's Disease and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure. The ALS community needs your help to put an end to this devastating disease. When you participate, advocate, and donate, you advance the fight to find a cure.
Join the movement to end ALS. I am asking for your help. It would mean a great deal to me if you would make a donation (large or small) or join our team to ride and fundraise with us. The ALS Association has made it very easy to donate or participate in the fundraising event this year. Just click the approriate attachments or call me if you have any questions.
Ride for those dwho can't. Ride to Defeat ALS. Thank you in advance for your support!
