The ALS Association Golden West Chapter excited to announce a remarkable
new public awareness and fundraising campaign, Rev Up to
Defeat ALS.
The passion, skill and generosity of Gary and Kristin Watson,
owners of Creations
n’ Chrome (CNC) of Valencia, California, combined
with compassion for their friend Carey
Hall of Hall Motorsports Refinishing and member of Sarah Fisher's pit crew, who was diagnosed with ALS
in 2010, led to the creation of a one-of-a-kind 2012 Ford
ALS Awareness Mustang GT.
The car was unvieled at the 2011 Specialty
Equipment Market Association (SEMA) which draws 150,000 of industry professionals all to one place, Las Vegas. Creations n’ Chrome scored a big win at the Show, when they walked away
with the Outstanding Achievement In Design Award from Ford Motor Company. This
prestigious award was presented to the owners of Creations n' Chrome,
Gary and Kristin Watson, for their customization work on the 2012
Mustang ALS Awareness car.
Luminaries from the world of motor sports, including legendary driver Parnelli
Jones, former IRL driver and team owner, Sam Schmidt, and Dennis
Anderson, creator and driver of Gravedigger on the USHRA Monster Jam
circuit, all dropped by to witness the car’s unveiling and offer their
congratulations.

The
ALS Association Golden West Chapter was presented with the extraordinary
opportunity to exclusive use of this ALS Awareness car as
a promotional vehicle to raise public awareness and funds for ALS/Lou
Gehrig’s disease from November 2011 through 2013.
Fred Fisher, CEO and President of The Golden West Chapter of The ALS
Association, was also in attendance to witness the car's unveiling.
"We're
excited to be associated with this beautiful car," Fisher said.
"The
Mustang will help us bring a heightened awareness to ALS during our Rev
Up to Defeat ALS campaign over the next eighteen months, and allow us to raise important
funds to help find a cure and bring services to those currently living
with ALS".

The dazzling red chrome street legal race car then made an
appearance at our 11th
Annual Lockton Authentic Swing Golf Classic and will be making
additional appearances at Chapter and public events over the next eighteen
months,
