Public Awareness Campaigns

There are many ways to raise ALS awareness through our various public awareness campaigns. Your actions and your voice are key to helping raise support for the ALS community!

It is only together that we will defeat ALS.

Campaigns by Date:

May is ALS Awareness Month

Participate in ALS Awareness Month by raising your voice, inspiring others to take action, or making a gift.

We encourage youth and young adults to also participate during ALS Awareness Month through our Youth Action Day! Learn more.

ALS Awareness Month and All Year Round:

Here are some actions you can take to help raise ALS awareness and support our ALS community throughout ALS Awareness Month and anytime of the year:

Advocate: Ask your congressional representatives to support people living with ALS by passing the May as ALS Awareness Month resolution through our online advocacy center.

Make a gift: Your donation will help us continue to provide vital Chapter programs and services free-of-charge, as well as fund ALS research and advocacy efforts.

Recruit others: Encourage your friends to like and follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Share your story: A critical part of raising awareness comes from learning more about how ALS has impacted your life and the people you love.

Get involved: Sign up for or make a gift to one of our many Community Outreach Walks and Rides to Defeat ALS events.
