The ALS Association Golden West Chapter
Proudly Serving 31 Counties throughout California and the state of Hawaii

Volunteers make a world of difference!

The ALS Association Golden West Chapter serves people with ALS and their families in thirty one counties in California.  With world-renowned ALS Centers of Excellence and multidisciplinary ALS Clinics, regional care management and monthly support groups, and many community events, we are here for all those affected by ALS.

Enthusiastic volunteers are key to our success!  We welcome people with a wide range of talents and skills.  The only requirements are the willingness to help, and a little time!  Volunteering is a great way to help the many people living with ALS and their loved ones, but also to meet other people, and learn new skills.   Volunteers can contribute in many ways- through their time, knowledge, skills and leadership. There are a wide range of volunteer and internship opportunities available. Whatever your interests, skills, background and availability, we have something for you.

We need you!

We are committed to honoring the integrity and commitment of our volunteer partners, ensuring that the experience is rewarding and enjoyable for everyone. Our organization welcomes the diversity that volunteers bring to our work and we are dedicated to providing growth and development for those who choose to contribute their time and resources.
