ALS Awareness Day with the San Francisco Giants
AT&T Park

Throughout July and the 2015 baseball season, The ALS Association Golden West Chapter is participating in and partnering with baseball teams to raise awareness and support for the fight against Lou Gehrig’s disease.

On July 8th, the San Francisco Giants will host a special day to honor the 76th anniversary of Lou Gehrig's farewell to the New York Yankees and his fans.  There will be a special on-field presentation with people with ALS and their families. Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions, provide information about the Golden West Chapter, National ALS registry, and to promote our East Bay Walk to Defeat ALS, South Bay Walk to Defeat ALS, and the Napa Valley Ride to Defeat ALS. The national "Strike Out Lou Gehrig's Disease" campaign is focused on promoting the ALS registry and spreading awareness about the increased risk to our military veterans.

We have a limited number of tickets for people with ALS plus ONE companion.  Additional tickets for family and friends are available for purchase. For questions, please contact info@alsagoldenwest.org if you are interested in attending!

Our thanks to the San Francisco Giants and to the San Francisco community for the efforts to make this such a special day!
