You are invited to a very special benefit performance of "The Voice Bank," presented by Edison International and hosted by the Golden West Chapter and Cal State University Long Beach's Theatre Arts Department at The Studio Theatre. This one-woman play created by Andrea Caban, Head of Voice & Speech at CSULB Theatre Arts,   tells an empowering story about one woman's struggle to retain her voice in the face of ALS. Caban plays both herself and Terry, who has ALS, as together they manage the progression of the disease through voice and accent training. The story gives voice to the emotional struggles of both the person living with ALS and the practitioner working hard to support someone facing this devastating diagnosis.
