The Royal Hawaiian Hotel 90th Anniversary Gala, A Benefit for The ALS Association in Hawaii
|
Aloha! The year 2017 marks the 90th Anniversary of The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort. With a year-long celebration planned ahead, we are excited to invite you to join us on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 6pm to celebrate this milestone event themed “The Night They Opened the Royal.” This transcendent evening will take you on a historically captivating journey recreating this special night, 90 years ago, when the island’s elite celebrated the ushering in of a new era of luxurious escapism to the islands. The celebration will begin with a glorious cocktail reception under the stars on the Ocean Lawn, followed by fabulous dinner from celebrated Executive Chef Colin Hazama with entertainment in the Monarch Room. All proceeds for this evening will benefit The ALS Association in Hawaii. Our goal is to raise funds to help The ALS Association further its mission of leading the fight to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy while empowering people with Lou Gehrig's disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a progressive, fatal neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. It impacts people of all age, race, nationality, ethnicity and geography, and there is no known cause, effective treatment, or cure. Please join us for our 90th celebration and our mission to find a cure for ALS. All funds raised in Hawaii will be reinvested in Hawaii to battle ALS with The ALS Association’s programs of free, local care management services, multidisciplinary clinic support, equipment loans, support groups, community outreach events, and public policy initiatives.
We look forward to celebrating The Royal Hawaiian’s 90th anniversary with you as we take a journey back into the past and commit to the future health and happiness of our community. Mahalo Nui Loa! Date:
